Disassembly & Assessment: Stripped down the front end by removing the damaged right-front fender, bumper kit, front grille, and trim to work on the bare body structure.
Dent Removal & Body Prep: Pulled out the dings and imperfections on the front fender, smoothing out the metalwork before prepping the surface for primer.
Color Match & Refinishing: Prepped, primed, and sprayed both the repaired right-front fender and front bumper cover in crisp OEM-matching white.
Reassembly & Alignment: Reinstalled the prep-painted fender, aligned the panel gaps, refitted the front bumper, mounted the twin-headlight grille with fresh trim, and secured the indicators and number plate for a seamless factory finish.
Looking at the progression through these photos, significant progress has already been made from initial teardown to mock-up fitting.
Work Accomplished Thus Far
Teardown & Demounting: The damaged front clip (crushed bumper, bent nudgebars, twisted radiator support, smashed headlights, and crumple-damaged front fenders) was stripped back to the bare core support and engine bay. A new cradle was installed.
Component Test-Fitting: Replacement panels—including a black Raptor-style front grille, black hood, replacement fender, new headlight, and front bumper shell—have been test-hung to verify alignment and gap clearances across the front clip.
🔥 Full Respray & Restoration Showcase: Toyota Corolla 🔥
From rough bodywork to a flawless spray-booth prep, this Corolla came into our shop in desperate need of some TLC. Take a look at the behind-the-scenes craft that goes into a true premium respray! 🚗✨
What We Did:
Complete Disassembly: Stripped down the front and rear bumpers, headlights, tail lights, fuel flap, badges, and trim so every panel gets 100% paint coverage without nasty tape lines.
Precision Metal & Bodywork: Worked over the bonnet, wings, doors, and boot to pull out dents, smooth over scratches, and level out all surface imperfections.
Alloy Wheel Restoration: Inspected and prepped the severely curb-rashed alloys to clean up those gouged lips and restore them back to standard.
Pro-Grade Masking: Sealed off every inch of glass, trim channels, and exposed engine bay areas to keep overspray strictly off limits.
High-Build Primer: Coated the whole body in a clean high-build primer surfacer to seal repairs, level out the foundation, and set the stage for a smooth, high-gloss finish.
Nothing beats bringing a tired car back to life with the right prep work and attention to detail. 🛠️
