M&R Automotive Services provide a standard Major Service which will extend and include:

 

• Inspect Brake and Warning Lights
• Inspect all lighting systems and report
• Inspect horn and report
• Inspect wiper blade condition and operation
• Inspect all pedals for correct operation and squeaks
• Inspect glowplugs for correct operation
• Replace engine oil
• Replace oil filter
• Inspect cam belts and chains
• Inspect radiator for correct operation and leaks
• Check and refill window washer fluid if required
• Check battery and terminals
• Replace brake fluid
• Check and replace gearbox oil if required
• Check differential oil and replace if required
• Check and replace transfer case oil if required
• Check and replace power steering fluid if required
• Check cooling system for correct operation and levels
• Replace all filters (Air, Fuel, Aircon cabin filter)
• Check all pulleys for play or noise
• Check TDC marks
• Inspect all joints
• Inspect all links and lubricate if required
• Check steering for correct operation 
• Check propshaft for correct operation
• Inspect exhaust system 
• Check all shocks
• Check and lubricate all chassy moving parts
• Check all tyre pressures
• Check condition of all tyres and report
• Wheel nut tightened to correct settings
• Inspect diesel water trap
• Report on condition of brake discs and drums
• Report on condition of brake pads and shoes
• Inspect all brake components for leaks

 

 

Lets face it, most of us hate having to book our vehicles in for service, because of the time and money involved. We keep postponing the inevitable and think that we will make the call next time or next payday. The problem with this approach is that we can end up requiring a Major vehicle repair, instead of a Major Service, which in the end will cost us a lot more. The answer is clear that we need to keep up to date with our vehicle services to prevent something worse of happening to our vehicles.
